Improving the method for evaluating the state of the pavement when using thermal imaging equipment

Abstract:
The University, specializing in educational services and scientific developments, has proposed a method for evaluating the state of the pavement when using thermal imaging equipment.

The description of the proposal:
The aim is to use thermal imaging equipment in order to develop the methodology for determining latent defects of asphalt concrete surfaces by fixing temperature gradients in road pavement structures that can increase their reliability under operating conditions.

Innovative aspects and benefits:
The proposed technology enables to improve the method for determining latent defects of asphalt concrete surfaces when using thermal imaging equipment.
